Overview
In an era shaped by climate change and rapid technological advancement, future-ready students need more than STEM knowledge alone. They also need a strong understanding of sustainability and a global outlook. This study tour is built around the theme of STEM learning and sustainable city exploration, taking students to Singapore for a combination of academic learning and real-world observation.

Transportation
Meet at Hong Kong International Airport and take a flight to Singapore Changi Airport.
〔Visit〕Singapore City Gallery
The Singapore City Gallery is one of the best places to understand how Singapore transformed from a resource-scarce island into a modern garden city. Its centrepiece is a large-scale model of the city, supported by multimedia displays and over 40 interactive exhibits that explore urban planning, greenery, transport, and sustainable development.
〔Attraction〕Chinatown
Chinatown is Singapore’s historic Chinese district, named after the ox-drawn carts once used to transport water in the area. It reflects the history of early Chinese immigrants and showcases Singapore’s multicultural identity, with temples and mosques located within the same neighbourhood. Today, Chinatown blends traditional shophouses with trendy stores and is well known for its local food and heritage atmosphere.

〔Attraction〕Kampong Gelam and Little India
Kampong Gelam and Little India are two of Singapore’s most colourful cultural districts. Kampong Gelam, once the seat of Malay royalty, is known for the golden-domed Sultan Mosque, traditional textile shops, and creative cafés. Little India is filled with vibrant colours, spices, temples, and bustling markets, reflecting the energy and traditions of the Indian community. Together, they offer an excellent introduction to Singapore’s multicultural society.
〔Attraction〕Merlion Park
Merlion Park is one of Singapore’s most iconic landmarks, located along Marina Bay. The famous Merlion statue, with its lion head and fish body, symbolises Singapore’s origins as a fishing village and its identity as the “Lion City.” The park also offers excellent views of Marina Bay Sands, the ArtScience Museum, and the city skyline.
〔Attraction〕Clarke Quay
Located along the Singapore River, Clarke Quay was once a busy trading port and has since been transformed into a lively dining and lifestyle district. Its colourful heritage buildings and riverside setting make it an ideal place to learn about Singapore’s trading history and urban regeneration.
〔Activity〕Singapore Night Tour
Enjoy a water and light show in the evening and learn how Singapore uses water resources and innovative technology to support tourism and city development.

〔Learning〕NTU STEM Course with Learning Certificate
Nanyang Technological University is a world-class research-intensive university and was ranked 12th globally in the latest QS World University Rankings. For Hong Kong students, NTU offers a highly international and bilingual learning environment, and its academic reputation is widely recognised by top employers and research institutions worldwide. Students will take part in a full-day STEM course on campus, gaining exposure to international scientific and technological trends.

〔Attraction〕Gardens by the Bay
Covering 105 hectares, Gardens by the Bay is one of Singapore’s most iconic urban green spaces. It is famous for its 18 Supertrees and the Flower Dome, one of the world’s largest glass greenhouses. The site showcases sustainable technology and plant life from around the world, and is a key example of Singapore’s vision as a “City in Nature.”
〔Visit〕Singapore Sustainable Development Gallery
Located at Marina Barrage, the Singapore Sustainable Development Gallery uses interactive multimedia exhibits to show how Singapore addresses climate change, water management, and waste reduction. Students will gain a better understanding of the city’s achievements in environmental protection, urban governance, and social development.
〔Attraction〕S.E.A. Aquarium
Located at Resorts World Sentosa, the S.E.A. Aquarium displays over 1,000 species and more than 100,000 marine animals. With its giant viewing panels, students can observe marine life such as manta rays and sharks up close, while learning about marine ecology and conservation.

〔Visit〕Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Singapore or another Chinese business or institution
The Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Singapore is the official representative office of the Hong Kong SAR Government in Singapore. It works to strengthen economic and trade ties between Hong Kong and Singapore, as well as other Southeast Asian countries including Laos, Vietnam, and India. The visit helps students understand regional cooperation, international business connections, and Hong Kong’s role in Southeast Asia.

Take a flight to Hong Kong.
Remarks
- The final itinerary may be adjusted subject to actual conditions and flight arrangements.
- In the event of force majeure or circumstances beyond the organiser’s control, including but not limited to traffic delays, heavy snow, road closures, weather conditions, flight delays, natural disasters, or government actions, any resulting delay, shortened visit, or incomplete itinerary shall not be grounds for compensation or withdrawal from the tour.

- If the listed hotel is unavailable, another hotel of a similar standard will be arranged

Tour Fee
HKD 15,000 per participant
Tour fee includes
- Return air ticket and airport taxes
- Attraction admission fees, accommodation, local transport, and meals as listed
- Group travel insurance
- Stamp duty
- Service fees for tour escort, guide, and driver
- Pre-tour briefing session
Tour fee does not include
- Passport and visa fees, if required. Please refer to the “Entry Information” section below
- Optional sightseeing not listed in the itinerary
- Costs arising from travelling separately from the group
- Extra expenses caused by delays, strikes, weather, or other unforeseen events beyond organiser control
- Personal expenses such as shopping, SIM card, laundry, and items not specified
Fuel surcharge note: Tour fee is based on the fuel surcharge as of 1 April 2026. If the airline increases the surcharge by HKD 200 or above per person before the enrolment deadline, the difference will be collected separately.
Enrolment
Participants must register on the HKFYG Easy Member Platform and pay a deposit of HKD 1,500 per participant.
After the group is confirmed, participants will receive an email with instructions for document submission and final payment.
- Deposit is non-refundable if the participant withdraws after group confirmation
- Deposit is non-refundable if final payment is not completed by the deadline
- If the tour cannot be formed, the deposit will be fully refunded

Note: If participants have any food allergies, dietary restrictions, or special requests, please inform us proactively when making payment after the group is confirmed. We will do our best to accommodate such needs. However, participants should also assess, based on their own health condition, whether the meals arranged for the tour are suitable for consumption. Our organisation shall not be held liable for any allergic reactions, health issues, or related losses arising from any food or beverages consumed during the tour.
Entry Information
HKSAR Passport holders, Macao SAR Passport holders, and PRC passport holders may generally enter Singapore visa-free for up to 30 days for tourism purposes, but must complete the SG Arrival Card (SGAC) online before arrival.
